The agreement

You made it.
You own it!

Eight plain sentences, no legalese wall. This is everything you agree to when you submit work to Unbillable.

  1. 01

    You keep ownership

    Submitting work to Unbillable transfers nothing. You keep every right you had before you pressed submit. We don't license, resell, or claim your work.

  2. 02

    You give us permission to show it

    You grant Unbillable and Breaking and Entering Media a non-exclusive permission to display your project on the platform and to feature it in Unbillable's own editorial and social channels — always with your name and credits attached.

  3. 03

    You confirm you have the right to share it

    The work is yours, or you have permission from everyone who made it and everyone who appears in it. Nothing here breaks an NDA, a client agreement, or someone else's copyright. Unbriefed spec work is welcome; work you aren't free to show is not.

  4. 04

    Everyone gets credited

    Credits must be accurate and complete. If somebody wrote it, shot it, cut it, scored it or art directed it, they go on the list. Misattributed work gets sent back.

  5. 05

    Brands are referenced, not represented

    Spec and concept work may reference real brands. It must be clearly unofficial, must not use a brand's actual trademarks in a way that implies endorsement, and must not be presented as a real campaign.

  6. 06

    Nothing hateful, stolen, or unsafe

    No hate, harassment, explicit content, AI-generated passing-off of someone else's work, or anything unlawful. Judgment sits with the Unbillable team.

  7. 07

    Review before it goes live

    Every submission is read by a human before publication. We may approve it, send it back with a note, or ask for changes. Publication is at Unbillable's discretion and is never guaranteed.

  8. 08

    You can pull it down

    Remove or unpublish your project from your Studio at any time, for any reason, without asking. If you want your whole account and work deleted, tell us and we'll do it.
